One Window is the sixth map to be added to Michael's Zombies, released on March 14th, 2023.
Background
One Window was added to Michael's Zombies to "prevent you all from ripping your eyeballs out with impatience". Designed as a challenge, the map is designed with a single window, a small corridor and all the resources the player needs to ensure survival. Featuring a unique Mystery Box, all buyable perks, and the Pack-A-Punch machine, it is all the players could want.
One Window is often regarded as a "farming" map by community members in order to earn Coins and XP for levels and weapons, due to how straight-forward the gameplay is. With this however, One Window can be extremely repetitive and often boring.
One Window and the update included with it did not bring any new content to Michael's Zombies.
Mystery Box
Similar to the Mystery Box on New Map, the box features a white color scheme and has two Michael heads in place of the question marks. Unlike the Mystery Box on any other Michael's Zombies map, it does not move, and does not feature a Michael in the weapon rotation cycle. The uniqueness in the One Window Mystery Box is that the player are able to obtain ALL weapons from any map before it. This includes:
- Map exclusive weapons (WunderWaffe DG2, Walther P99, AK74u)
- Hallow's Eve exclusive Classic weapons
- Multiple starting pistols at once
Pack-A-Punch
Pack-A-Punch is located on top of the zombie spawn room. To upgrade the weapon, the player have to look up and stay from a safe distance while waiting as the zombies that were busy breaking the barriers can harm the player(s)
When Pack-A-Punched, it gives 3 camos
- Red & Black - Taken from New Map, the red and black camo skin applies to any Modern weapon.
- Pearl - A pink-white ish reflection taken from Hallow's Eve
- Wonder Weapon - Camo for Wonder Weapons
Trivia
- One Window was created in "a few days" for the MZ playerbase due to the delayed release of Michael Barrel.
- This is the second map to be inspired by Call of Duty Custom Zombies. The first being Hallow's Eve 2022
- There is a copypasta above the Mystery Box board, criticizing the MZ developers for taking so long on ALPHA 1.6.0.
- Unlike New Map, One Window features a kill-barrier for zombies to prevent the game taking forever to change rounds
- One Window holds the current status as smallest official map.
- The Zombie skins are the avatars of the creators of the game, Kyles45678 and 1Joeb.
