"Fast and Agile, one may be painless, but a horde is a burden"

Hell Hounds[]

Hell hounds, commonly referred as 'Hounds" or "Dogs", are dog-like entities that attacks by leaping, which deal ~25 DMG to the victim. They take a small break after doing so, and they can down the player in 4-5 hits without Juggernog.

Hell Hounds move around the map and search for players in a slightly faster speed than zombies. After they has locked on a player, they become Active, which gain a faster speed and emits fire from their body. If a Hell Hound is killed while it's Active, it will explode, this however will not damage the players.

Hell Hounds are theorized to be in Michael's Zombies due to Michael's dislike of dogs, and let them suffer with you.

Scaling[]

Hell Hounds tends to be physically weaker than the Zombies that chase after you. They scale up three times on the first, second, and third dog round before their HP is capped. A Ray Gun will one-shot a Hell Hound at any round.

Special[]

Hell Hounds do not spawn outside the map, they spawn inside the map with a more concentrated spawn point than the Zombies with no indicates

Unlike the Zombies, Hell Hound do not appear at the start of the game, instead they first appears on their own roughly every 5-8 waves and beyond. These waves are known as "Hell Hound waves". At the beginning of these wave, a demonic announcer will yell "FETCH ME THEIR SOULS", with an echo.

Hell Hounds will begin to spawn with the zombies after the third round and on wards, but despite this, a Hell Hound wave will still happen roughly every 5 waves

Hell Hounds also appears in wave 20 and on wards in Hallows Eve

Tip[]

  • Due to their density during Hell Hound waves and normal appearance in mid game, it is recommended to counter them with an AoE weapon
    • A second option is to dodge their leap and attack them while they are resting
  • The last Hell Hound killed during a Hell Hound wave will always drop a Max ammo power up
  • Hell Hounds is not affected by the Friend bomb, they still target the player when one is around

Trivia[]

  • Hell Hounds sometimes stay idle at certain opened door ways such as the electric gate closet to the automobile garage, this is very likely to be a bug
  • There's an issue with Hell Hound pathfinding in Der Riese. They may seem un-killable until they finally target their player due to how they are coded.
