Hallows Eve 2024 is the tenth map to be added to Michael's Zombies, and the first map to be reworked since release. This map has been removed from the public and currently accessable in VIP server.

Background[]

Hallows Eve 2024 is a refresh of the already existing Hallows Eve map, featuring new features, a larger map, new bosses and a lot more. Most of the gameplay and existing mechanics can be found on the previous page instead.

Hallows Eve is a unique map that takes place in the style of "Classic ROBLOX" from 2006 to 2010. Featuring a retro style throughout the entire map, from building design to weapons, Hallows Eve serves as a seasonal map that comes around every October. In 2024, the map got a large overhaul to fix and add many features.

Hallows Eve is a map that contains a "trick-or-treating" mechanic. Players can walk up to doors and spend 500 points to receive either a trick, a treat, or something else.

Hallows Eve 2024 is based around the old ROBLOX player "jvaldez4" and his plagiarism from 2010-2014.

2024 Rework[]

Expanding from the existing Hallows Eve map, the 2024 edition adds a lot of new things. Players no longer need to rely on trick or treating in order to obtain weapons, with every Classic weapon receiving a wall-buy instead. The map was expanded, adding a church, the catacombs, and other housing that players can explore. The buyable ending was moved, and players can shoot various colored pumpkins in order to unlock the Pack-A-Punch machine, something that was previously missing on the older map.

Alongside the addition of a Pack-A-Punch, players no longer need to rely on Trick or Treating to obtain perks. There are now various Perk machines (Juggernog, Double-Tap, Speed Cola and Quick Revive) scattered around the map. Stamin-Up and Deadshot are also obtainable on this map, with Stamin-Up being found as a yellow bottle either near the Church or near the exit of the catacombs, and Deadshot being obtained either via Trick or Treating or as a drop from the jaredvaldez4 miniboss in the form of a Perk Bottle power-up (only if he spawns naturally, not via Trick or Treating).

The buyable ending was also updated, with modern items such as Panzer Michael replaced with Policemen and jaredvaldez4 to fit the theme of the map, as well as the removal of Hell hounds.

Updates to the Trick or Treat system[]

The following was added in the 2024 release of Hallows Eve (not all have been discovered)

Tricks[]

  • Teleported to a "Parkour Civilisation" style area to jump for a choice of two power ups.
  • A PhD Flopper perk machine, that the player cannot buy in time.
  • A Police Officer chasing after the player.
  • Jared Valdez chasing after the player.
  • A random meme with a sound effect, mostly taken from the MZ Discord.
  • Teleported to a Salvage Minigame, rewarding you with the salvage points in game if completed.
  • Points halved.

Treats[]

  • Let's skip this round! Immediately ends the current round and advance into the next wave.

Encounters[]

Players can have:

  • An encounter with Kiryu Kazuma;
    • He will heavily damage the player and take their points. If you get out of the way, the game will say "NICE DODGE!!" instead.
  • An encounter with Z-367: Pandemonium, from Pressure1
    • Players will be forced into playing the minigame, like they would inside a locker in Pressure. Players are not able to be hit by zombies during the minigame, but losing the game is an instant death
  • An encounter with Tutorial Terry, from Block Tales
    • He will tell you that you are not the pizza guy, before launching a rocket at you.
  • An encounter with Jermbo, from Regretevator
    • He will come out of the elevator and start wandering aimlessly, not being a threat to anyone. Players can shoot at him to make him vacate the area.
  • An encounter with a snail;
    • A snail will start chasing down the player. It can immediately down a player who does not have Juggernog. The snail can be killed if an Instakill is active, or a nuke goes off, however it will only hold the snail in place.

Removed[]

  • God Mode power-up

1 = Michael's Zombies was given permission to use Pandemonium (since a few people have asked)

Pumpkin Shell Game[]

The Pumpkin Shell Game

A new addition to the map is the Pumpkin shell game. This can be found after traversing through the neighborhood, in the pumpkin patch along the curve in the road. Players can interact with any of the pumpkins for 500 points, lifting it up to reveal a potential reward, with the biggest one being the secret weapon. The potential rewards include (These are all discovered so far):

  • A bunch of mini-Michael's meow and run away from underneath the pumpkin. Does nothing.
  • A random power-up.
  • The secret weapon.
  • The jumpscare from red debug screen

The secret weapon:[]

The Ghoul Buster itself

The secret weapon obtainable from the Pumpkin Shell Game is the Ghoul Buster. It is virtually identical in usage to the M2 Flamethrower, having infinite ammo, piercing, low damage and good point farming potential. The biggest difference between the Ghoul Buster and the M2 Flamethrower is that instead of applying the damaging burn effect, the Ghoul Buster stuns zombies affected by it. This effect only affects small zombies, as larger zombies like the policeman and jvaldez4 are not affected by the stun. The stunning power of the Ghoul Buster makes the weapon incredibly viable for surviving higher rounds, as the zombies will get increasingly faster with every round, quickly reaching the point where you can barely outrun them, even with Stamin-Up and slide cancelling.

Perk Machines[]

There are now various perk machines scattered around the map, instead of perks only being obtainable via Trick-or-Treating. All of these have to be powered up by a Soul Box, with the only exceptions being Quick Revive and Stamin-Up (Which is found in a bottle). They are listed below in order as the player can encounter them.

Soul Box needed? Location
Quick Revive No Found near the first set of houses the player encounters. Uniquely doesn't require charging via a Soul Box to be function. Costs 1500 points in co-op, and 500 points in solo. QuickRev Hallows2024

Pack-A-Punch[]

The Pack-A-Punch machine can be unlocked by shooting at a variety of pumpkins around the map, with a total of 7. They all possess a unique color. They are:

  • Pink: Found above the locked gate to the Catacombs in spawn.
  • Blue: Found atop the blue house in spawn.
  • Red: Found in the roof of the garage housing the Juggernog machine.
  • Green: Found in the pumpkin patch. Go to the door of the house and look to the left.
  • Orange: Found behind the church between two trees.
  • White: Found going up towards the church. Turn around and look next to the big pumpkin.
  • Black: Found to the left of the entrance of the slide going into the Catacombs from the church.

Shooting these in any order will raise the Pack-A-Punch from the cauldron.

Easter Eggs[]

  • Beside the soul box that powers the double tap perk machine, a small Sinister P can be seen along with a few disassembled mechanical parts, it confirmed that this is a reference to the 2018-2019 Halloween boss Pumpkinator from Reason 2 Die: Awakening.
  • There is a wooden room in an unknown location with an image of Kiryu Kazuma and a quote "I bet you're a very laggy mobile player and u somehow got bugged here... not cool vro..."
  • If the player got bugged under the spawn, they may see the PhD Flopper perk machine and seven papers with scribbles, which is a reference to Slender : The Eight Pages. According to one of the builders, they forgot to remove them.
  • If the player look from the fence between the blue house and red shed in the spawn area, they may notice a mansion in the distance with the lights resembling a pattern, at the left side of Mulekick (in catatombs) there is a wall with 9 bricks that the players can shoot with a weapon, enter the correct pattern by shooting the corresponding bricks will unlock access to Classic Rocket Launcher and grant the player "The Mansion's Code" Badge. The pattern does not change in each game and always remain the same.

Trivia[]

  • A lot of social media accounts thought that Michael's Zombies was "confirmed" to be in The Haunt due to the upload of new badges. This was never confirmed, and MZ did not take part.
  • The rocket launcher Tutorial Terry uses is the same used to kill the player should they fight him at the beginning of the Prologue in Block Tales.
  • The "BOO!!" jumpscare you can find from doors and pumpkins is the same Michael head used in the infamous uhh guys what is this screen image.
  • The snail, which references The Immortal Snail Hypothetical, can often soft-lock the game. If no zombies spawn, try and get a Nuke or Instakill from a door and find it.
  • In order to get the Round 50 badge, players must first reach Round 50 and THEN buy the ending.
  • When the map release, the friend joining system was broken. It has since been fixed.
  • When a player goes down, they still receive the M1911 Colt and not the Classic Pistol.
  • The bus can instant kill the player should they get rammed while it's moving.
    • It can even bypass the god mode console command.
  • c4rpye's cause of death as written on his headstone in the cemontry is a reference to this meme.
