Cannot link the teleporter

Ive been trying to link the teleporter in der riese yet it doesnt work, the first time it happened while i was in multiplayer yet i didnt think of it the second time i was in solo and was trying to link the teleporter but it just doesnt work i pressed f multiple times yet i cant link to it, ive tried switching the platform settings to desktop but it still doesnt comply, the game is fine it doesnt have any glitches and i can interact with anything other than the teleporter link. Any solutions???

There's a time limit you have to link the teleporter to the main teleporter in under 15 seconds

According to the announcer it's 25 seconds, but the stopwatch says that it's 30 seconds so it's either 25 or 30
